Eugenia Agustí

The young Catalan artist Eugènia Agustí, born in 1967, has developed an interesting career which was rewarded in 1994 with Spain's National Engraving Prize for a New Artist. Her work shows innovative ideas in terms of form and technique. She spreads colour over the paper, and from this colour objects emerge, volumes which seem to swim in the paper, covered in a special patina.
